The Mainstream system includes the following items:
- Mainstream whole house ventilation fan
- Electrical box cover/grille bracket
- Grille
- Thumbscrew
Note: The Mainstream-MHV will include an Airetrak |

Installation:
- Remove the existing fan. Set the screws aside
- Ensure that the roof cap is unobstructed
- On the Mainstream, remove the electrical box cover/grille bracket by removing the two
screws on the fan housing. Set the screws aside
- Slide in the Mainstream whole house fan, making
sure that the source electrical wires are fed into the electrical
box and that the romex clamp is tightened
- Using the screws from the original fan and the existing hole locations, attach the
Mainstream to the ceiling through the plastic flange
- Make the electrical connections as shown the the wiring diagram
- Re-install the electrical box cover/grille bracket
- Attach the grille with the thumbscrew

State and local electrical code may require that these devices
be installed by a licensed electrician. Check with your
code officials before installing.
